TÜV SÜD publishes a ``White paper`` on IT security

Hacker attacks on businesses and their IT systems continue to grow and are generally associated with high costs. According to a PwC study, in 2014 there were almost 43 million incidents worldwide, which is approximately 117,000 incidents per day. Hacking attacks have generally affected businesses of all sizes. TÜV SÜD has published a white paper that provides an overview of the regulatory differences in major markets and industries and shows the importance of developing an IT security strategy that is aligned with the relevant requirements.

All companies (large or small) must be aware of the risks that exist in digitization, the consequences of these risks and potential strategies to combat them. In addition, companies operating globally, especially companies in the field of critical infrastructure, must know and be able to comply with increasing regulations in the field of data protection and IT security. Last but not least, they need to know why a security strategy is so important and what steps are needed to implement the strategy.

To recruit this need, TÜV SUD published a free document “IT Security of Critical Infrastructure” “White paper” which deals with these essential aspects.
