TUV SUD’s presence on the WWW began in 1998: the group site, tuev-sued.de, was launched at the same time as the specialized virtual service centers.

Among other things, car owners are now able to sign up for a general inspection and emissions testing in order to reduce waiting times. Seminars offered by TÜV Academies (founded in 1986) can now be saved online, too.

At a time when many companies use their websites as enhanced business cards, TÜV SUD has taken advantage of the interactive possibilities of the Internet that dominate the digital domain today.
